Entry Requirements
A. 4-YEAR BACHELOR OF EDUCATION (B.ED)
- WASSCE Holders
Credit passes (A1 – C6) in six (6) subjects, comprising three (3) core subjects (including Core English Language and Core Mathematics) and three (3) elective subjects.
- SSSCE Holders
Credit passes (A – D) in six (6) subjects, comprising three (3) core subjects (including Core English Language and Core Mathematics) and three (3) elective subjects.
- Mature Persons
Persons who are Twenty-Five (25) years of age or above, with passes in English and Mathematics in WASSCE/SSSCE/GCE ‘O’ Level or other nationally recognized standard High School level examinations, can also apply as Mature Students and will only be admitted after a pass in an Entrance Examination.
B. 2-YEAR TOP-UP TO B.ED (POST DIPLOMA PROGRAMME)
Diploma in Basic Education Certificate or Transcript from any recognized University.
C. POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN EDUCATION
Degree certificate or above in any field of study.
How to Apply
Form Purchase Procedure
- Purchase an E-Voucher online at securepay.jackson.edu.gh or through the USSD code *920*215# at a rate of ¢200 for the 4 Year B.Ed/ 2 Year TOP-UP (Post -Diploma) and ¢250 for the POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN EDUCATION (PGDE) programme.
- Select your preferred programme option.
- Follow the Momo prompt procedures and make payment.
- On completion of payment, an Applicant (Serial) Number, a PIN and the link to the Admission Portal will be sent to the applicant.
Online Application Procedure
- Prospective students are supposed to complete an Online Application after purchasing an E-voucher.
- Log into the Admissions portal using the link, https://admissions.jackson.edu.gh/
- Click on Start Application when the Admission Portal opens.
- Provide Applicant Number and PIN and click Login for the Online Application portal to open.(NB: Applicant number is the same as Serial Number during the E-Voucher purchase)
- Fill the Online Application portal with all details as required by the system and upload all relevant documents and certificates.
- Submit application after completion.

ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION OF NEW STUDENTS
- Acceptance of the admission offer goes with full payment of tuition fees for the academic year. Upon being offered admission, an applicant is only considered to have accepted the offer after (s)he has paid the specified tuition fees and registered online, not later than the date stipulated by the College.
- Tuition fees paid are neither refundable nor transferrable.
- Tuition fees, as well as other fees should be paid STRICTLY according to the format or procedure detailed in candidate’s admission letter. Any other means of payment shall not be recognised or accepted, except for students who are on institutional scholarships who may be allowed to pay by cheque.
- Failure to meet the deadline for payment of the fees shall be deemed a rejection of the admission offer, and applicant will lose his/her place to another applicant.
- If it is subsequently discovered and established that a student does not possess the qualifications by virtue of which he/she has been offered admission to the College, he/she shall be withdrawn from the College and barred from entering or seeking admission from the College.
CONFIRMATION OF RESULT SLIPS / CERTIFICATES
- The College shall present examination results of each student to the appropriate examining body for confirmation, and the student shall bear the cost.
- A student shall be withdrawn outright if his/her result slip, certificate or any other supporting document is found to be fake.
- Any confirmation of results not done by the College shall not be accepted.
- A mature student shall present a copy of his/her birth certificate as proof of date of birth.
